DirectX 10 or 11? 64bit or 32bit?

Presently we have RFactor, which is undoubtably the best Sim ever.

In its present guise it is a DX9 32bit game which I started playing quite adequately with a Geforce 6600.

Times and hardware have moved forward somewhat since then. So, for the multitude of Simmers out there that invest their hard earned cash on pc hardware I have what I think is a very just suggestion.

With RFactor 2 will we be treated to DX10 or 11 and 64bit coding?

It would be a sad waste not to be able to take advantage of these things.

No point in all these fancy Quad cores and Windows 7 64bit if its playable on an old P4 with Windows XP.

Lets hope eh?Wink

Im 100% sure that directx 11 is going to be needed to make the most realistic game graphics possible.

64 bits is the future as advanced games uses more memory, so its required for memory intense mods.

Another good thing would be multi gpu support and open cl support for more physics.

oh and i multi threading.
